PLASTECNIC has been manufacturing these ALUMINIUM LANDING LEGS for vehicles with pneumatic suspension since 1999 to offer its customers the possibility of lightening the weight of their semi-trailers and, consequently, increasing the payload.

Specifications and design
Our landing legs consist of three extruded aluminium profiles in 6082 alloy and T6 hardness treatment and a locking mechanism of 304 stainless steel.
The design, which has rounded edges and is reinforced in the most critical areas, gives the piece excellent resistance to the vertical load of 25 tons per set.
Handling and safety
Its locking mechanism, based on a pin activated by the compression of a spring, frees the user from extending the foot by operating a crank, making this task much faster through operating the pneumatic suspension.
Its oscillating base allows the absorption of any longitudinal movement that could occur, either in the work of engagement/disengagement or even if a loss of pressure occurs in the suspension.

The PLASTECNIC R&D team has made strength and low-weight compatible, developing a light and robust aluminum landing leg that helps semi-trailer manufacturers reduce weight as much as possible, thus increasing the payload.
